A transparency platform — not a registry. Records shown verbatim from official government sources.

2,333 listings from this source are searchable on ProtectedPets — re-checked 17 days ago.

We show each listing verbatim, with attribution back to Florida Department of Law Enforcement. A listing we can’t currently re-verify against the official record is withheld, so it isn’t counted here either.

Search by name

Who appears on this list

People convicted of, or who pled guilty or no contest to, offenses specified under Fla. Stat. 828.12 and designated pursuant to Fla. Stat. 828.12(7). It is a conviction-based list — being charged is not enough.

How long a listing lasts

Listings run for ten years and reset on re-offense. A listing that has run its course comes off the official database, and ours follows on the next sync.

Searching the official record

FDLE publishes a search-by-name form with separate Last, First, and Middle name fields, plus a downloadable copy of the full list. There is no direct link to an individual entry, so searching the name is the only way to reach a specific listing.

How this source appears on ProtectedPets

We don’t re-host or re-interpret this list. Each listing is shown as the agency publishes it, with the source and the date we last checked it on the record itself, and a link back so you can verify it. We never publish home addresses or maps of people, and we don’t add anyone to a list of our own — see our methodology and accuracy policy.

If something here is wrong — the wrong person, a sealed or expunged record, a conviction overturned, or a listing the agency has since removed — tell us and we will verify it against the official source and correct or remove it.
