Lee County animal-abuser registry and enjoined list

Who appears on this list

The registry lists people convicted of qualifying animal offenses, who must self-register within ten days of conviction or release. The enjoined list is separate: people a civil court has barred from owning animals. An enjoined-list entry is not a criminal conviction.

How long a listing lasts

Set by the county ordinance and, for the enjoined list, by the terms of the court’s injunction. Entries come off when the Sheriff’s Office removes them.

Searching the official record

The Sheriff’s Office publishes a search page for the registry and a separate page for the enjoined list. Neither offers a per-person URL — search the name on the official page.
